Stairway to Heaven was the first project by a
predecessor to r u r a l r e c r e a t i o n, "Walk, Don’t Walk".
The project aimed to challenge the status quo by demonstrating
the need for opening up the countryside of the UK in a radical and

Devon (OS map reference SX7577), making this popular tourist site DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliant. The planning
application was rejected by Dartmoor National Park.
